Hand in Hand Umbrella Factory will be closed for three days, from October 1 to October 3, 2026. Customer communication will continue during the holiday. You can send custom umbrella requirements, artwork and questions about existing projects. Sample completion and dispatch dates will be confirmed individually after we check materials, printing and supplier schedules.

Our factory’s 2026 National Day holiday arrangements
| Item | Arrangement |
|---|---|
| Factory closure | October 1–3, 2026: three days |
| Customer communication | Continues during the holiday; you can leave a message |
| Requirements and design details | Can still be discussed, organized and confirmed |
| Sample production | Completion dates depend on materials, processes and supporting suppliers |
| Sample dispatch and arrival | Confirmed separately from sample completion |
This is our factory’s own arrangement, not a schedule shared by every supplier. Continuing customer communication does not mean that all production processes will operate during the holiday.
For new inquiries, samples in development and existing orders, you can continue to contact us. Work requiring workshop production or external processing will be scheduled after the relevant arrangements have been checked.
Why can a three-day closure affect samples for longer?
A custom umbrella sample may require frame and component preparation, fabric sourcing, printing, cutting, sewing, assembly and inspection. Some operations take place in our factory; others depend on supporting suppliers.
If all materials are ready, production is easier to arrange after the break. If fabric has not arrived or a printing supplier is still closed, the following operations may have to wait. Among suppliers we work with, holiday breaks can be three, five or seven days. Each schedule needs to be confirmed.
The right question is not simply “How many days is the factory closed?” It is “Which materials or operations does this particular sample still depend on?”
We can confirm our own factory’s arrangement. External supply, processing and return-to-work dates must be checked with the relevant partners. A three-day factory closure therefore does not automatically mean a three-day delay for every project.
How long do custom umbrella samples normally take?
Based on our factory’s experience, the following are reference production times when requirements are approved, materials are available and the necessary processes can proceed normally.
| Sample type | Reference production time under normal conditions |
|---|---|
| Simple sample using available materials | Approximately 1–2 days |
| Standard custom sample | Approximately 3 days |
| More complex structure or production process | Approximately 3–7 days |
These are experience-based estimates, not guaranteed lead times for every sample. International shipping is not included. Projects awaiting materials, design revisions or additional development require a separate assessment.
Around a holiday, a sample that would normally take one or two days could take five days, ten days or longer if materials or printing are delayed. This is not a prediction for every project; it explains why normal sample timings should not be carried over without checking the actual schedule.
Two recent projects show why early communication matters
Ohio, USA: 3D modeling can also be affected
I am assisting a customer in Ohio with 3D modeling. The earlier Mid-Autumn Festival holiday delayed the relevant work by three days.
That was a separate holiday-related delay, not a forecast of the National Day delay. It shows that scheduling matters before workshop production begins: design and modeling can also depend on coordination between different people or teams.
Australia: confirm the sample date after checking the dependencies
An Australian customer’s umbrella sample is also being arranged. A standard sample might normally take about three days, while a more complex one may take three to seven days.
With National Day approaching, we need to check material availability, printing arrangements and supplier schedules before confirming a realistic completion date. I prefer to explain what is confirmed and what is still awaiting an answer, instead of promising a date before those details are known.
What can buyers prepare during the holiday?
You do not have to wait until production resumes to clarify your requirements. Please send:
- Product requirements: umbrella type, size, opening mechanism, reference images or details of an existing sample.
- Customization details: fabric color, logo artwork, print positions, handle and packaging requirements.
- Quantity: the number of samples required and the expected bulk order quantity.
- Timing: when you need to receive the sample and whether there is a fixed event or sales launch date.
- Destination: delivery country and postal code so shipping arrangements can be checked.
If you do not know the technical name of a material or process, send reference images and explain the intended use. We can work through the details together.
For a time-sensitive project, tell us the latest acceptable arrival date—not only the date you hope production will finish. Sample completion, dispatch, customer approval, bulk production and final delivery are separate milestones.
Frequently asked questions
Can I request a custom umbrella quotation during the holiday?
Yes. Although our factory will be closed from October 1 to October 3, 2026, customer communication will continue. You can leave a message with your product requirements, artwork or questions about an existing order. Production-dependent details will be confirmed after the relevant schedules are checked.
Will my sample be delayed by exactly three days?
Not necessarily. Fabric, frames, printing or other supporting operations may have different schedules. We need to review the current stage of your project before confirming its timing.
Can a simple sample using available materials be completed sooner?
It is usually easier to schedule when the materials and process are already confirmed and no external processing is needed. Completion still depends on the actual production schedule; describing a sample as “simple” does not guarantee a particular delivery date.
Is the usual three-day sample timing guaranteed around National Day?
No. Normal sample timing depends on approved requirements, available materials and coordinated production processes. Around the holiday, these conditions need to be checked again.
Does a completed sample mean I will receive it immediately?
No. Dispatch, international transportation and any applicable customs clearance take additional time. Please confirm sample completion and expected arrival separately.
